WTF is Nividia container and why it consumes 20% of GPU
When I install nvidia drivers, I only install the drivers and not the junk Geforce Experience. No extra processes running, I'm smart enough to go to their site to manually check for new drivers, I don't need it to auto adjust my games because I'm smart enough to manually tweak my games and I don't use it for streaming.

There is no definitive answer. GPU scaling is the same across all modern Nvidia GPUs. Display scaling is different between monitor manufactures and even monitor models from the same manufacturer. So there's no way to know which is better without knowing the exact display you're using.

In case it helps someone else, for me, just an uninstall of geforce experience, and reinstallation, then allowed the Nvidia driver to be installed. Kept getting the driver installation failure message until I did that.

I have just tried to download Nvidia Geforce Experience a couple times now (Seemingly successfully), but when I tried to install the application after downloading, I get the "7-zip: CRC error" every single time.

Nvidia wants the default driver state to provide the highest out of box framerates so when people benchmark them they are effectively using "low graphics settings" from the driver. Anisotropic filtering 16x should be mandatory by all gamers today since it has a very low impact on performance, but does have an impact nonetheless. Hence why it's off.
